Classic Greek Salad

Classic recipe of the refreshing Greek Salad is a staple in Mediterranean cuisine. Combining ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, red onions, olives, and feta cheese, it’s perfect for a light meal or a side dish.

Ingredients:
- 3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
- 8 oz feta cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Recipe:
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumber, thinly sliced red onion, and sliced green bell pepper.
- Add the Kalamata olives and cubed feta cheese to the bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra oregano if desired.
