Dark ‘n’ Stormy cocktail originated in Bermuda in the early 20th century. It was created by the Gosling Brothers, who originally sold rum to sailors. The drink became especially popular after the company began marketing a mix of their Black Seal rum with locally-produced ginger beer, creating a refreshing beverage that was later trademarked by the Goslings.
