Perrier-Jouët is a French champagne house founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas-Marie Perrier and his wife Rose-Adélaïde Jouët. It is known as one of the most refined and poetic champagne brands in the world. The brand is famous for its floral, elegant style with notes of white flowers, citrus, and brioche, as well as its iconic bottle decorated with white anemones.

Interesting fact: Perrier-Jouët was the first champagne to travel aboard the Titanic. The famous liner’s cargo list included a shipment of this brand’s champagne destined for the first-class restaurant. When the Titanic’s wreckage was discovered on the Atlantic Ocean floor in 1985, one of the Perrier-Jouët bottles was brought to the surface. Incredibly, it was preserved almost perfectly — the cork was still in place and the label was legible. Although the wine inside had spoiled due to pressure and saltwater, the find itself became one of the most romantic legends in the history of the brand. Today, this bottle is kept in the Perrier-Jouët museum in Épernay as a reminder of the house’s connection to history and eternity.
