Crispy Tilapia Fish Sticks

Recipe of the crispy tilapia fish sticks, as a delicious and easy-to-make dish, perfect for a quick weeknight meal or a satisfying snack. Coated in a crunchy breadcrumb mixture, they’re sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Ingredients:
- 1 lb tilapia fillets, cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- vegetable oil, for frying
Recipe:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Set up a breading station: place the flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a third dish.
- Dredge each tilapia strip in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the fish sticks in batches, cooking each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the fish sticks hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
