Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Recipe:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in diced green and red bell peppers; cook for 5 minutes.
- Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, kidney beans, and black beans; stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with optional toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.
