March 21, 2021

Cserszegi Fűszeres is an aromatic white grape variety from Hungary, created in 1960 by crossing Irsai Olivér with Roter Traminer. Known for its intense floral and spicy character, it thrives in Hungary’s continental climate and produces fresh, expressive wines that can be enjoyed young. The name comes from the village of Cserszegtomaj, where it was developed, and “fűszeres” meaning “spicy” in Hungarian.
