Veil is a female headdress that partially or completely covers the face. Usually the veil is made of a translucent fabric, lace, often in the form of a mesh. Veils originated in the countries of the Middle East where women covered their faces not only in the street but also at home in the presence of strangers. In everyday life, women do not wear veils but this accessory can sometimes be seen on celebrities’ heads.
