Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Recipe:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie pan. Trim the edges and crimp as desired.
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared pie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
