Kitten Heels
September 13, 2019
The kitten heel is a short, slender heel, approximately from 3.5 to 4 centimeters nearly two inches high with a slight curve, setting the heel in from of the edge of the shoe. They were introduced in the late 1950s as formal fashion attire for young teenage girls but became popular as Audrey Hepburn worn them.
It is believed that the kitten heels were invented as “training” shoes for girls, so that they are accustomed to walking on thin unstable heels.
Can be worn with cropped skinny jeans, cropped boyfriend jeans, elegant trousers, and dresses.
