Pavlova

Recipe of Pavlova, a light and elegant dessert made from crisp meringue with a soft, marshmallow-like center. Named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, it is a popular treat in Australia and New Zealand, typically topped with whipped cream and fresh fruits.

Ingredients:
- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwi, passionfruit) for topping

Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and draw an 8-inch circle as a guide.
- Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, and beat until glossy stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla.
- Spoon the meringue onto the circle on the parchment, shaping it into a nest with higher sides.
- Bake for 90 minutes, then turn off the oven and let it cool completely inside the oven.
- Whip the cream until soft peaks form and spread over the cooled meringue.
- Top with fresh fruits and serve immediately.
