Ingredients:

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwi, passionfruit) for topping

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and draw an 8-inch circle as a guide.
  2. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, and beat until glossy stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla.
  4. Spoon the meringue onto the circle on the parchment, shaping it into a nest with higher sides.
  5. Bake for 90 minutes, then turn off the oven and let it cool completely inside the oven.
  6. Whip the cream until soft peaks form and spread over the cooled meringue.
  7. Top with fresh fruits and serve immediately.
