Gore-Tex is a special membrane fabric invented and patented in 1969 by the American engineer Wilbert Gore and his son Robert Gore. Gore-Tex is used for clothing, footwear and accessories.

Gore-Tex is especially popular with people who lead an active lifestyle, are fond of extreme sports, or live in mountainous areas with a harsh and rapidly changing climate.

Gore-Tex has the following properties:
