For the meatballs:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
For the dip:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- salt and pepper, to taste
- fresh parsley, for garnish
Recipe:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Form small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) from the mixture, rolling them between your palms to create an even shape.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (about 10-12 minutes). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- For the dip, combine the yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir well until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
