Derby Shoes
January 5, 2019
Derby shoes belong to the shoe type with the open lacing system, where the quarters are sewn on top of the vamp with the shoelace eyelets facings stitched on top of the quarters. This type of footwear can be both with the perforation and without it.
Derby shoes are less formal than oxfords, they are actually the opposite of oxfords and considered to be the most versatile ones. Black derby shoes are suitable for strict suits, and brown or two-color — for informal trousers like chinos or jeans, which makes them suitable both for the office and various informal events.
