Oxford Shoes

November 12, 2019
Oxford is a style of shoe where the two flaps of leather with the piercings for the laces are stitched together at the bottom underneath the vamp. The laced area opens in a closed-type v-shape and does not allow as much adjustment unlike Derby shoes.
There are several main types of Oxford shoes to be distinguished:
Plain Oxford
Cap Toe Oxford
Wingtip Oxford (Brogue)
Saddle Oxford
Wholecut Oxford
