Recipe of the overnight oats, as a quick and healthy breakfast option that can be customized to your taste. This recipe omits chia seeds, focusing on the classic combination of oats and milk, perfect for a simple and nutritious meal.
Cooking time:
5 minutes (plus 8 hours chilling)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
- ¼ cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- pinch of salt
Recipe:
- In a bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir.
