Vanilla and Lavender in the new fragrance by YSL

August 1, 2019

According to YSL, the cocktail inside the fragrance refers us back to the main idea of the brand which is – freedom. Saint Laurent dressed women who fought for their rights and independence, so freedom has always been at the heart of the designer, and consequently it got a reflection in the name of the perfume itself, which is “Libre” (fr: “freedom”).

As the key ingredients of the composition, the perfumers Anne Flipo и Carlos Benaim selected French lavender and Madagascar vanilla, together with the minor notes of orange, neroli and tangerine. As a result, the fragrance turned out to be moderately sweet and feminine.
