Catsuit
Catsuits (or tight overalls) are officially recognized as one of the most relevant uniforms of the new season. In the season of spring-summer 2022, tight dresses are replaced by sexy jumpsuits that skillfully follow the contour of the body. Another unique feature of catsuits is that they are quite easy to pair with all sorts of other elements of your wardrobe, such as sneakers and oversized jackets that you will get the perfect outfit with for every day. And paired with pumps, black glasses and large gold jewelry — an impeccable evening outfit that will collect many compliments.
In the spring-summer collections, skinny overalls have become a key element of such brands as Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, Balmain and Saint Laurent. This season has introduced us many of its models in all sorts of shades and decorating options, from simple solid color catsuits to asymmetrical, printed, and those with halter cutouts.
Designers were especially fond of shining fabrics. Balmain showed us a catsuit with a geometric pattern, fully embroidered with sparkling stones. Burberry relied on chain mail overalls, and David Koma not only trimmed the catsuit with glass beads, but also made it asymmetrical, covering only one leg of the model.
