Sicilian Fruits Inspiration by Dolce & Gabbana
By the end of this warm winter, Dolce & Gabbana decided to please us with the bright combination of fruit flavors in their new perfume collection inspired by the tasty scents of Sicily.
Citrus compositions were created by the perfumer Jérome Epinette. For the Orange fragrance, he mixed the sweet fruits of orange with Calabrian bergamot, and a bouquet of fragrant herbs. For Lemon – bergamot and lemon notes were accompanied by ginger and vetiver.
Another talented perfumer, Marie Salamagne, was specially invited to work on the Pineapple composition. By applying new technniques, she was able to recreate the natural notes of the fruit as accurately as possible. Marie decided to reveal and emphasize the aroma of pineapple with the help of mandarin, jasmine, amber, moss and orchids.
