Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup almond milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
Recipe:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the almond milk, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the boiling water to the batter, stirring until smooth. The batter will be thin.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
