Longsleeve is a T-shirt with a long sleeve, i.e. its sleeve extends to cover the arm from the shoulder down to the wrist or even the hand. Among the characteristic features of longsleeves are the lack of fasteners and low density material that it is made of.

Originally longsleeves of different colors were created for various sports teams, supplemented with teams’ logos and players’. Then the sports fans started to wear longsleeves with their favorite team players’ names and numbers, which motivated the fashion industry to add longsleeves in their ready-to-wear lines of clothing too. Currently longsleeves are pretty common for wearing in everyday situations.
