Tipperary cocktail first appeared in the 1916 printing of “Recipes for Mixed Drinks” by Hugo R. Ensslin. The recipe slightly differed from the one popular today, though not so much info left since those days about it.
Tipperary cocktail has a delicious herby licorice flavor coating the palate, complemented by the sweet vermouth giving it warm sweetness.
