Trousers Tucked in Boots

November 10, 2022

This fall, high boots still keep the status of the most popular footwear. Their main strengths are versatility and how complimentary they look regardless of your body shapes. Modern fashionistas have lost the habit of tucking trousers and jeans into boots, while more often pairing those with skirts and dresses, but this almost forgotten trend is regaining popularity, as can be increasingly seen in the collections of designers such as Celine and Saint Laurent, both of which combine boots with tight black trousers.

The good news is that you can experiment with more than just trousers. As an alternative to trousers and skinny jeans, you can safely opt for straight, loose-fitting pants, as demonstrated by Ralph Lauren and Longchamp.

Baggy jeans can also be tucked into boots, as did Victoria Beckham, whose boots almost lined up with denim shirts, from bottom to top.

And in the collection by Dorothee Schumacher, classic black boots are styled with lighter contrast jeans and a slim jumper. As we can see, the fall-winter season literally inspires us for all kinds of experiments and allows us to choose almost any combination.
