One of the Mexican national drinks, where it is sometimes made with pomegranate juice instead of tomato juice and without the grenadine. It was allegedly originally created by Oscar Hernandez, a fruit stand vendor from San Luis Soyatlán, Mexico.
A supercharged version of Bloody Mary with a hint of sweet grenadine.
Was formerly present among IBA official cocktails but has since fallen off the list.
